This place is the best!!! I walked in and was greeted by a warm welcome. The waiter who I believe was called Reece, gave me his pronouns which were xim/zen and helped me with all my needs. The food was spectacular and the drinks were thirst quenching! However, I began to feel unwell and like a superhero, Reece got me a glass of water. WOW, the customer service is impeccable. I ended this pleasant treat by giving Reece a tip of 47 pence!I returned to the promised land today at 10:47am and as soon as I stepped in the warm, welcoming door I was greeted by no other than Reece. (What a man!) I ordered a panini and it was gorgeous tbf. Food is number 1 top dolla.

Came in to grab a couple coffees and some scones. The scones are amazing. Would 100% recommend getting one of each. Very friendly staff.

Stopped in for a full Scottish while on holiday, disappointing. For the price of £10.50, the sausage, black pudding and haggis pudding weren’t a very good quality. One mushroom and two fork full of beans. Tomato and tattie scone were alright.

Nice food and dog friendly, ideal when it’s pouring with rain outside! Reasonable prices.

One of the best soup and a sandwich, we've ever had. Root vegetable, so delicious - and I could have eaten it twice over. One of those meals you never want to end. Sgoinneil! The staff were very friendly. It's a bit tight on tables and we were there on a Sunday and they were queuing out of the door! Well worth a visit.

This was our first visit to Kirkcudbright & this was the first café that we found after parking. The staff are super friendly & the food & drink choice is pretty good too. I'm definitely returning the next time I'm in Kirkcudbright.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor is basic. The food unfortunately is unreliable. Avoid the soup. The panini was good as was the chocolate orange tart.

Fantastic food I can highly recommend the paninis! The breakfasts are amazing and very filling. The ladies are very welcoming and its a lovely atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: An abundance of toys and books to keep little ones entertained.

Service fine. We both ordered soup and a sandwich. Worst soup and sandwich we’ve ever had. Broccoli and Stilton soup was that thick you could stand the spoon in it and definitely not hot enough. Sandwich dry and tasteless and hubbys coronation chicken filler was so salty he couldn’t eat it (which is not like him to leave food!) When I went to pay I mentioned the salty indelible sandwich and all I got was “sorry that’ll be £19 please”… Over priced for what we got and not a great experience. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Visited on the day of the Kirkcudbright Tattoo, it was busy inside so we sat outside with our wee dog. We ordered the local burger it came with salad and chips and it was absolutely delicious, piping hot served on a proper morning roll with lovely crisp fresh salad and coleslaw, it was presented well and I was impressed. Service was friendly and when there was a black cloud overhead with a spit of rain we were offered the last table inside, we persevered outside the sun came back out and it a beautiful hot day (it is Scotland after all) When we are back in the area we will definitely visit again.

Some of the worst food we have ever had. A complete rip off with very poor quality product that was not cheap either. If you are even slightly fussy about value for money and at least half decent food look else where. Tiny little portions as well.
Hearty food and friendly service!
