19 Castle St, KirkcudbrightA wonderful pub: clean, beautifully decorated with a great atmosphere. The service is excellent and the staff provide a warm and friendly welcome. There is a good choice of beers and the gin bar is the best I've seen. Very dog friendly too.

Nick the tutor was fun , knowledgeable, lots of interesting stories and very supportive and inclusive of everyone . I would highly recommend the experience - get cooking

The Selkirk Arms Hotel & Restaurant
High St, KirkcudbrightNice family style hotel, apparently dating from 250 years ago. Rambling , corridors and stairs, no lift. We had a nice room and bathroom on the 2nd Floor. The restaurants and bars, and the garden are lovely, food was good, and the staff are super.

15 St Cuthbert St, KirkcudbrightTasty pies and tarts with coffee. Opposite a nice park with plenty of tables and seats so this made for a great picnic lunch. Not brilliant range of veggie pies but to be fair it was after 2pm.

Ashland, Twynholm, KirkcudbrightWe went to the cocobean company last Saturday for my granddaughter 4th birthday and it was the toy story theme, we all as a family had the best day out food was amazing play area in soft play the outdoor bit closed it opens on april, it's a great experience from start to finish well worth the trip and my 2 granddaughter loved making the chocolate that also is well worth the money staff were very welcoming and pleasant keep up the work guys will defo go back.
