Went into the lion and star before work for a spot of lunch was greeted and seated by the staff on shift I ordered the dirty denvor fries the food that arrived at my table was amazing and the portions where huge compliments to the chef on today will certainly be back
Recently visited while on holiday , ordered the dirty Denver fries and Mac and cheese. The service was quick and friendly , the staff were very polite. The food came very quickly and definitely didn't disappoint. For a side , the fries were a large portion and cooked to perfection. The bar staff were quick and made sure everything was right. Not been in for a while but decided to go as we'd heard it was under new management. The place was clean and staff welcoming. We had lunch and two Jack's with coke for less than £35. Food was excellent as well. Highly recommend the Lion and Star.
