Olympic gold standard chippy.Ive been a chef for over forty years, I have never had fish and chips better than this.The fish batter was crispy and fresh the flesh of the fish was tasty and flakey and came away beautifully .Now I've eaten ,F&C. Every time I come visit my gran in Coatbridge we get Tony’s. We love the special fish, always tastes amazing and fresh. Tried the southern fried chicken the last time I went which I would definitely recommend, though it was a shame they didn’t have any gravy. But the star of this time’s visit was the mozzarella fritter… Jezo… it was AMAZING, and the BIGGEST mozzarella fritter I have ever seen. Next time I come here I am getting that just for a snack. Regular visitor and always feel the place takes its Health & Hygiene seriously. Staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. Food whether pizza or classic fish and chips always up to scratch.
