Really great food here, my partner had the Fish and Chips and I had a Goats Cheese and Beetroot Salad. Both were delicious and really good value for money. Great place, friendly people and very good value for money. I would certainly recommend.Vegetarian options: They do a really nice Goats Cheese and beetroot salad which I had as a main course.
I've only been living here a few months, but Chekkers is now my local weekend haunt, great staff ! Lager is lovely. I've tried every brand, and I never had a bad one! Enjoy an odd cocktail now & again, I've not tried the food yet, but the restaurant area is always busy, I'll try it for myself soon, always smells great! They also have great DJs & bands too! x

The service was was excellent and so were the drinks. The chicken snitchzel that I ordered was fresh and cooked to order. My only criticism would be using fish batter for breaded fish on chicken. That was definitely a first for me, because I thought chicken snitchzel was coated in breadcrumbs. However, apart from my meal my friend enjoyed the burger.
