The Black Bull during the day and Black Bull at night are two different pubs.During the day it's nice and relaxing with amazing food,At night it's a bouncing pub with great music,the karaoke on a Friday and Saturday is a night to remember. The DJ has to be one of the best I've ever heard.The staff are really nice too.A warm, friendly pub regardless of what time you go.

Have been here a few times in the last few weeks just on our own and also with friends. The food is great especially the black pudding fritters and have also tried different things. Staff are lovely and very helpful always a smile nothing is too much trouble. Our friends also loved the food and will definitely be back again.

My meal, steak pie, wasn't very nice. A lack of meat, and bland vegetables. A pub that doesn't do a roast dinner on a Sunday?
After phoning the night before and leaving a message showing interest in a dog, I took a run through the next day, went into the office explained about my phone call that I never received a call back and I was interested in viewing the dogs, oh I was told you can't see the dogs today, all that way and no viewing. I was very disappointed.

We booked the black bull to host our joint hen party last weekend and we cannot recommend it enough. All the girls were so helpful, friendly and genuine. Everything we asked for they were able to do. The bar was so so busy but we were always able to be served quickly. They organised the DJ and stored our buffet in advance of the evening and cleared up after the party was over. I went back and picked everything up the next day and everything was tidied into a big box for us. Absolutely stand out night, would recommend hiring the black bull to anyone. Xxx
