Had a Christmas night out with friends here last night. Absolutely fantastic night, food outstanding, prices behind the bar spot on and the staff are an absolute credit to you. Had a good old singalong with the karaoke some brilliant Christmas songs. Brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.
Would recommend based on several vists. The food is standard Scottish pub fare with a few ingenious dishes and an often great specials board. Some dishes are a little unspectacular (especially kids menu) but all is good quality and reasonable price for solid portion sizes. The service is mostly good, sometimes superb and the pub usually has a friendly atmosphere with rock/pop tunes played at a volume to support the relaxed ambience. Have been here a few times in the last few weeks just on our own and also with friends. The food is great especially the black pudding fritters and have also tried different things. Staff are lovely and very helpful always a smile nothing is too much trouble. Our friends also loved the food and will definitely be back again.
