Really nice spot, friendly and efficient staff. As a barista myself the coffees were well made. Unfortunately there was still a short wait, though this was only due to a lack of staff - 3 people is not enough for a busy service station even if they are efficient.Seating was really nice, with a much better view than most service stations.

Coffee wasn’t up to usual standards and although I ordered and paid for an almond croissant, a plain one was thrown across the counter with a curt “we’re out of almond ones” I wasn’t offered the difference in price back or an apology. Not the standard I have come to expect from Costa.

Just stopped here. Nice staff and spacious We had two medium americano coffees with milk, however the milk came in a tiny jug. It hardly made any difference to the coffee! If offering different size coffees, they should also provide different size jugs of milk. Also, an extra 50p for oat milk! Almond croissant very dry. Hence the three stars. Some improvement needed. ?

Unexpectedly lovely. We visited on our way back from holiday and we're expecting a usual motorway services (ie not that great) but we were surprised by this one. A very bright and spacious Costa with a nice view of the lake (including ducks!), the staff were friendly and courteous too. The food and drink is obviously the standard Costa menu.

It’s a nice location, perfect place for a cold or hot ?while on the way to the destination. Caramel salted frappe tried here - it was tasty, but would recommend with coffee. Otherwise it’s too sweet. Place was clean, plenty sitting area, quick service and as usual friendly staff will make you feel special.

3 attempts to get 2 cappuccinos. First one slopped into cups -"oh, I thought you wanted a latte" - no I wouldn't have asked for cappuccino if I'd wanted latte. Second one slopped in with no regard - virtually lukewarm . Third attempt after request for heat is fine. Server couldn't give a toss and he clearly didn't want to be here
