Stayed here for one night with group of friends. Excellent evening meal and superb breakfast, thank you Arthur. The bathrooms in the hotel rooms could do with a bit of attention but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only criticism I can make is the staffing levels need looking at. On checking in the young lady on duty appeared to be having to do everything reception, showing guests to their room, serving food, clearing tables and serving behind the bar. I stayed here when visiting Lockerbie for work. I had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. The staff were very welcoming and walked me to my room. Nothing was too much bother. The room was just what I needed, clean and spacious with a variety of teas/coffees/hot chocolate. Cooked breakfast was fantastic. Our usual stop over hotel was unavailable so as a option we were really impressed. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Out next trip to Scotland will definitely include a stop over At this little gem. Cannot recommend them enough. Excellent service and prices in all departments
