The Ropes Restaurant had an ultra modern contemporary feel to the place 100% satisfied with my January 2024 day trip visit. Apart from the fine lunchtime dining, what struck me most was the quaint leisure harbour, with Ayrshire's breathtaking rolling hills adjacent [Carrick Braes], and beyond on to cosmopolitan towns [like nearby Prestwick] indeed included in the backdrop. Visited out of curiosity. Arrived after 11am, and considered getting a light bite. Informed chef arrived around midday. Told a panini could be offered. Stayed for hot drinks. Perhaps in more seasonal circumstances the pre midday catering offerings are increased but cannot say. There may be a market for offering breakfast/brunch menus?
