Just had my small wedding at BLACK Bull,and I am so glad I chose here. It was amazing from start to finish.The staff,the food the atmosphere,all 100%. I had people travel here from all over UK, and they all loved it.Thanks to all at BLACK Bull you were fantastic

We went for afternoon tea at the Black Bull. We had been gifted a voucher for 2. The sandwiches were unimaginative and the bread from a thick white sliced loaf. Scone was dry and flavourless and the selection of little cakes were dry and horrid. My cup of tea was lovely, but the standard coffee not so much. We are just glad we didn't pay for it.

The deluxe room I had was good. No complaints. The food was brilliant. Haggis, chicken, and bacon compote was excellent. The bellhaven black ale was also very nice. Only stopped one night. But top marks.Food & drinks: We were very impressed with the evening meal and breakfast

We stayed here as we were going to a wedding in Enterkine house. 3 of us stayed in the family room, which was nicely decorated, beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely too. Our only complaint was that the radiator didn't work and the room was freezing. We reported this as soon as we arrived but it wasn't rectified. On listening to conversations it seems that this problem isn't a new one.Lovely staff and great food
