A casual visit to the Black Bull Inn, Moffat during our first proper trip away with our Golden Retriever Dog. We called in for a quick bite to eat as we saw the advertisement board outside which said dogs are very welcome. What an absolutely amazing place packed full of olde worlde charm ! We stayed in a Junior Suite in the annexe and it was beautifully decorated with huge bed, good sized tv on an adjustable bracket, coffee machine, kettle with range of coffees and teas and a slipper bath. Only reason I scored this 4 out of 5 is due to the fact there was no way of getting any fresh air as the window was sealed closed. Thank you for a lovely evening: your pub is cosy and welcoming, with warm, friendly staff, a great choice of beers on tap and fantastic food - we loved our Tam o Shanter burgers and Cullen Skink. Our dogs were welcomed with biscuits and we heard the great story of Rabbie Burns and Tsar Nicholas!
