“For starters we had 12 buffalo chicken wings. They are incredible, and just the right spicyness. We had 1 each of the blue cheese and ranch dips which perfectly complimented the wings.

I had the ribeye steak, with creamy pepper sauce and fries. It was all fantastic. The pepper sauce was the best version of a pepper sauce I have had. Again, it was the perfect accompaniment to the steak.

My wife had a salad and said it was also very good.”

Their warm, friendly, and genuinely engaging personalities turned a casual stop into a highlight of our trip. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and a place you’ll want to return to. A true gem in Montrose!”

“Food is good, fish supper, king rib and single scampi were good chip shop quality. However I ordered and paid online and chose the time slot for collection. On arrival I asked about my order and my bill was added to the end of live queue which was quite long. Even people who walked into the shop and ordered food after me got their food before me. I stood there and waited for 20 minutes after confirmed time slot. Scandalous wait time for a chipper to be honest. Cashier taking orders could work on customer skills and maybe be a bit more welcoming.”

“First time in Montrose and glad I found this gem. Hearty bowl of soup, coffee and cake, all went down a treat. Very busy but quick and friendly service. Located in a lovely building too, I'll be back to investigate this lovely town a bit more.”

“Hadn't been for a while and it was really nice. A couple of things though, they only had sour dough bread and no other options(not a fan of the sourdough) also we had soup and a wrap and it came with chips. Enjoyed it but a lesser option of just soup and wrap would of been nice.”

“Great find in Montrose where we spent a few days. Lovely place for food with staff being very friendly and helpful. Fab fish and chips and our vegetarian guests enjoyed their food. Great place to watch football or sports of any kind. Lots of screens available. Would return.”
