I had a wonderful time at the Anchor restaurant in Johnshaven. The lobster pasta and fish and chips were amazing, fresh and flavorful. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great seafood meal in a charming village setting. It is worth the drive from Aberdeen or Montrose. My Wife and I required a place to stay for the night prior to an appointment at a local hospital. We searched locally and found The Anchor Hotel after a search online. It’s a little out of the way in a small village, nevertheless there are amenities a short drive away.What a wonderful establishment we discovered.
