“We sat outside because it was sunny, they have a lot of tables outside. It's not the best view in the world, but there was a good atmosphere and most tables were full.The bar staff were a bit unsure of their stock and we got charged two different prices for the two rounds we had, even though they were the same drinks.There was reasonable selection of lager and cider on draught but the only IPA I saw was Innis & Gunn Gunnpowder - which is a good IPA but they could do with a choice.The prices are very low, and if you're a student they're even lower. I think we were under £15 for 2 x Gunnnppwder and 2 x Corona ( 330ml bottles).We didn't get any food but the menu had more than just the usual burgers and hot dogs, so we'll definitely go back to try that.”

“A great pub and a good atmosphere, along with reasonably priced drinks.Popped in twice over the weekend while off to see a show & was busy, but friendly. Drinks are much cheaper than they are priced in some places too.”

“Had a meal here tonight after seeing it recommended on Instagram, definitely wasn't disappointed. Had the haggis scotch egg to start with to share, egg perfectly cooked and beautiful haggis. Main course was seafood linguine and a steak sandwich, steak was medium as requested and melted in the mouth. Seafood linguine had a good mixture of seafood and the sauce was nice as spicy, as requested and a nicely balanced tomato and cream sauce. Service from Tyler, very welcoming and attentive, nothing was any bother to him. Will come back again”

“Good price for the vegetarian breakfast. Bit dimly lit but staff helpful. Free coffee refills always a hit but try not to read the in house magazine. It is a mix of fan fiction and weighty populist articles.Wheelchair accessibility: Some elevators and ground floor toilet. Hard to get out to the beer garden.”
