One of the best pubs in the area. Excellent choice of cask beer, and always high quality unlike some other establishments (eg. that other big place across from brunton theatre). Decent prices too.
Great choice of real ale in "normal" pub i. e. one that isn't trying to be restaurant, just sell decent beer.No frills, genuine local bar, just be ready to put up shrill youth in the beer garden.

A great, friendly bar. It has multiple ale taps and is very popular for a reason. As far as I know they don't serve food but considering the sheer volume of places that serve food a short distance away it isn't an important factor at all.Definitely a place to go to on a Sunday afternoon to watch sports and have a drink with friends.Parking: The back of the Brunton Theatre, Musselburgh high Street etc.
