“Myself and 2 of my friends stopped in at the Trap for some food and a drink, we were on day 1 of coast to coast cycle from Stranraer to Eyemouth and had been late arriving at Newcastleton, the people are so friendly and made us feel very welcome, they fed us and also made sure we had some breakfast for our next day departure to Eyemouth, I can't thank them enough for there hospitality and also donating towards my charity cycle. You will forever be in our hearts ?”

“Three of us stayed here on a cycling holiday. Tom the manager is brilliant, a good cook and good company. Rooms are clean, a little dated, everything is reasonably priced, with a secure place for bicycles. We would stay there again.
