Went for family dinner. Thoroughly impressed by food, atmosphere, and service.*Recommend getting in touch ahead of time as they buy seafood fresh.*Thought the large scallops for starter were impressive, but the seafood platter was definitely the star: garlic buttered lobster, langoustines, shrimp, whitebait, squid rings, scampi, mackerel, mussels, not to mention the chips alongside. Too big to finish so had to take some home.Lovely atmosphere with chairs around fireplace to relax afterwards. Introduced to their tea selection which they were knowledgeable and helpful with.If you like fresh seafood, thoroughly recommend!Parking: Park behind building, big lot with plenty space.

Lovely food, our dishes aren't here to select although they were all fish dishes for starters and main. Couldn't do enough to help us.

Went to Cammies last night with family for a Birthday meal. The first thing that stood out was the lovely, modern seasidey decor! We were promptly allocated our table. The waitress was brilliant! Very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was really tasty too, with a diverse menu with something for everyone. The presentation of the food was also brilliant. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Service is outstanding. Made to feel very comfortable and welcome.Parking: There is plenty of room in a newly surfaced carpark.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely amazing for younger children. My 5 year old son was made to feel part of the group, and he behaved because of it. Thank you.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access.

We all had the fish which was excellent. The chef came out and gave up some options on how the bream could be cooked. The Sri Lankan monkfish curry which went down a treat. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience at Cammies. Everything was simply amazing, tasty and genuine. Fish is super fresh and high quality. Every dish is cooked to perfection and plating is exceptional. The staff is super friendly, nice and keen to accommodate any request and preference. A little gem where you can enjoy among the best meals in the area.

Just one word: Amazing!! We went for a late lunch after visiting Stonehaven. The place is very nice, clean and spacious. From the start to desserts, food was absolutely delicious, fresh and amazingly cooked. Service is friendly and impeccable. Couldn’t recommend enough, we will be back for sure!

Lovely service and delicious food. Accommodated dietary requirements by cooking a main not on the Sunday menu. Would recommend!

Popped in really late for a Sunday carvery and the staff ignored the timings and we gracious and friendly. Sitting eating lunch while the staff had theirs at the same time showed true family nature. Great carvery, good honest picking and no skimping on the heating on a cold day! Could not comment on the atmosphere as we were literally last, but it felt relaxed and no pressure to dig in!

Went today for Christmas Dinner with my family. 6 of us. On arrival staff informed us this was their first Christmas service and asked for a bit of leeway. Being a chef manager myself I was most impressed, not perfect but very tasty. Cooked and prepared well. Service needs attention but not unacceptable. Overall pleasure to be there and good value for money. I wish them all the best in their hospitality future. We'll dine guys.Darren Watson party of 5 and one child.

"Oh what fun" the staff Christmas jumpers had it right... Christmas lunch was an utter shambles! The chairs were faulty and legs ready to collapse when sat on, the table wobbled, only one fork and knife for a 3 course meal and that was just the start. The starters came out fine but no one knew which was the different types of pate were. The main was carvery but we were told twice to sit back down as they were topping things up, not a problem, but you think the fresh food would be warm. All for plates of food was freezing cold and had to be microwaved. We asked for another round of drinks 4 times and had to go and collect this ourselves from the bar after 30 minutes of waiting for a pint and a cranberry and soda. The waiters were running around (one literally fell on his bottom) but no one had a clue where anything went, they'd walk around with starters/drinks/pudding to the wrong table several times, this showed the utter chaos and no organisation. Several drinks were spilled, glasses broken and the spilt drinks just sat on the floor despite small children running around (extremely dangerous). A waitress was far more concerned what her child was doing (not a paid guest but just a small child with clearly no where else to go) than serving paying customers. She also walked around without shoes on for the majority of our meal, very unhygienic. This was not the relaxing Christmas out we had planned for.I spoke with the manager at this point, who listened to my disappointment and said she would speak to staff then come back to my table to compensate. She never came back and the bill was not compensated. We had to ask for our pudding twice and the bill 4 times and eventually went to the bar to pay our bill. Not one person had a clue what was going on today and this really showed. Utter chaos on Christmas day. Despite being previous regular customers, we will not be back.
