In the shop you’ll find items by local artists like cushions, candles, and seasonal ornaments to mention but a few. The store sells locally produced fruit and veg as well as eggs and bread. They also stock high quality store cupboard items, as well as a small selection of local cheeses, hoummous and pies. For those who are eco conscious you can find eco friendly household items as well as refills on washing detergent, shampoo and handwash.Anna, Jamie and Peter go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They always remember how you take your coffee and often make gluten free cakes and lunches if they know I’m coming in.Their successful “pie nights” are always popular so you have to book in quick if you want to join the fun.The beans on toast are also amazing - who knew you could make them ‘fancy’?!The kids love the ice cream selection… just watch out for Anna sneaking them extra large scoops when you’re not looking!Top that off with friendly locals and customers from further afield always happy to have a chat (which only adds to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere) and you’ve got the best wee cafe around.Highly, highly recommend - it’s worth a trip if you’ve never been.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, Gluten Free, Nut free, VegetarianWheelchair accessibility: Ramp in to the front door, plenty of space inside to manoeuvre, wheelchair accessible toilet.

10 Old Mill Rd, Newtonhill, StonehavenI love this bar so much. Decent beers. The staff are outstanding. So friendly.Free pool table. Good dart board. Juke box is internet connected so it has everything on it.Locals/regulars are also really friendly and nice to speak to.There’s an outside space that’s a lovely little sun trap on a sunny afternoon.

Thoroughly impressed by food, atmosphere, and service.*Recommend getting in touch ahead of time as they buy seafood fresh.*Thought the large scallops for starter were impressive, but the seafood platter was definitely the star: garlic buttered lobster, langoustines, shrimp, whitebait, squid rings, scampi, mackerel, mussels, not to mention the chips alongside. Too big to finish so had to take some home.Lovely atmosphere with chairs around fireplace to relax afterwards. Introduced to their tea selection which they were knowledgeable and helpful with.If you like fresh seafood, thoroughly recommend!Parking: Park behind building, big lot with plenty space.

So far food wise I’m tucking into your soup and it is piping hot and absolutely delicious!! Can’t thank you enough guys. DEFO can recommend this take away! xOk so now I have tasted all if the food I ordered. Fabulous fresh tasting food.Sweet and Sour King Prawn was light, wasn’t greasy, piping hot and tasted delicious. The sweet and sour sauce was on just the right side of tart instead of gloopy and too sweet.Beef chow mien is genuinely the best I’ve had in this area. Non of that wet gloopy noodles with loads of wet sauce and large chunks of carrots and broccoli and stuff. This was Beef Chow Mein as it should be. Nice flavoursome dry thin noodles with spring onions, fried onions and bean sprouts and plenty of beef. Fabulous!Can’t fault them at all. Great food cooked the way it should be, arriving piping hot, great friendly customer service that is sadly lacking these days, and very quick delivery despite me living quite a bit away in a place most won’t deliver to.Five stars all the way. Can’t recommend them enough. Well done A Taste of China xxxx

10 Old Mill Rd, Newtonhill, StonehavenGreat ordering experience tonight. Got the munchy box for £12, onion bhaji, and the bone-in tikka meal. Portions were humongous and food was good! The bone-in tikka was succulent, onion bhaji was crispy. I ordered via their website at 4:30 pm. The estimated delivery given was 5:15 pm, food was delivered by a friendly gentleman at exactly 5:15 pm. Will defo order again!
