“We visited as a couple on Saturday 11th November 2023. Popped in after reading the menu board and booked a table for later that evening.There were two menus displayed, classic and À la carte. I should point out the classic menu is not on their website and if I’d only looked online I wouldn’t have booked. We were able to mix n match as all items are individually priced.Starters - mussels in white wine sauce, mushrooms on sourdoughMain - salmon fillet with potatoes and veg, blade of beef with roast potatoes and vegDessert - chocolate and salted caramel tart, sticky toffee pudding and butterscotch sauce both with a scoop of ice creamLatte and a double espressoBottle of white wine.Water and breadFood was fantastic as was the setting, atmosphere and service.Change from £90 which I thought was fantastic value also.Highly recommended”

“I absolutely love the restaurant. A visit to Benderloch is not complete without a visit to Hawthorn Restaurant. Food is outstanding, home cooke, sorry, no pictures, never quick enough! Favourite is the black pudding bon bons when on special. Hosts are friendly and always have time for a chat. Family tradition, last night stay dinner is always at the Hawthorn.”
