Went out for dinner with friends for my birthday on a Friday night. I was not disappointed, the staff were friendly and food was great and flavourful.I got the chicken strips with honey as my starter and then the fish and chips for my main. The chicken was juicy and the batter was crispy. The fish was amazing and the chips were fluffy.I would recommend going in for a meal as I will be back for food next time I'm in town.
Went for lunch with my wife today, heard loads of good things about the place and it didn't disapoint. Made to feel extremely welcome and the food was excellent. Deffo be back.

Great local pub. Went in for a drink and something to eat on a cold day. Had a really tasty bowl of homemade soup. The beer (Belhaven) was good. Really friendly welcome so a huge plus when visiting for the first time. Will definitely go back. And most definitely recommend this place if your in the area. All in all a good honest pub with friendly locals and staff.
