Had a great stay here at the weekend. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother. There was secure storage for my bike, bike wash facilities with cleaning products and brushes and provision for charging. An ideal location for anyone riding in the valley with everything you need. The food was brilliant and they even had Yorkshire Tea in the room which in my eyes makes it a 10.Thanks for all your help both during the stay and prior to my arrival. You are definitely on the top of my list for future stays.

Everything a mountainbikers hotel should be. I liked esp. the advice on trails to ride. I liked their trail e-bikes. Helpful friendly owner and staff.Noteworthy details: Bus stop next to hotel.

Superb place to chill, eat amazing food, drink beer and talk MTB after a day riding the local trails - the owner knows his food AND the local riding really well giving us tips for our next rides. The food was REALLY good - yes it has burgers and nachos but also some different alternatives and lighter bites and top quality. The place has a very chilled vibe too - it does what it says - it's a rider's retreat! Will definitely be coming back here

Dropped in whilst camping at Glentress Forest Lodges for food and drink.Fab meal, bratwurst with mustard mayo (big fan) and chilled pint of Tempest Armadillo IPA, nothing better after a days hiking.Friendly staff and dogs got to chill out on outside decking.

Great owner, and would strongly recommend stopping by.The owner managed to sort out bike hire at short notice for me and my mate, and made sure we were good on our way up the mountain with a really friendly approach! It was a fantastic way to finish up a Scotland trip.Coffee and cakes were excellent as was the post ride beer.I'm definitely going here first in the future, I just wish we had time to stay for dinner.Nearby activities: Right next to Peebles and glentress - mountain bike destinations fit for the best.Food & drinks: Great coffee and cakes, wish I could have tried more of the food.Noteworthy details: Really friendly and helpful team, accommodating some of our particular needs.

My friends and I have been coming here for mountain bike trips forever but since Murray and the team took over it has been absolutely catapulted ahead of the alternatives nearby in terms of service and experience. The rooms have recently been refurbished to bring a fresh and higher quality feel and the bar and restaurant have also been freshened up. Every time I leave this hotel I am thinking about the next biking trip up North! The food is excellent, from the full Scottish breakfast to the lunch menu, local beers and evening meals… All of it is of a very good standard and reasonably priced. You just don’t need to venture into town anymore because everything is here! The location is second to none with Glentress, The Golfie and Innerleithen trails all on the doorstep. Truly some of the best riding in the UK…Murray you really have created something special here, hopefully see you again before the summer is out! Kip

Tried to get a table Sat 3rd June 2023 whilst on a group holiday, 6 of us 50+ up for a cycling week. Was told no availability due to staffing issues, we accepted this as we'd turned up without a booking but place was practically empty. We tried to book a table for the following day, staff member shot us down instantly without even looking at any reservation list or asking a time. Business must be good as they turned down at least £200 takings and we won't be visiting again.
