Went out for a boozy lunch, both had scampi and chips with a small bottle of white wine. Ordered at the bar, wasn't too loud with music or people, the staff are fantastic, service is top, not waiting for your main course too long. When the food arrived, was of good portions, presentation was lovely. I loved it, finished scraping the plate, and definitely would go back to try other dishes. Pub in city centre easily accessed from bus / train station. Parking beside it. When entering you’ll get a proper pub lunch. Bar as soon as you go in with tables for food, couple of steps up into another area with tables for food. Also a few benches out the back. Nice lunch menu. Served quickly & piping hot food. Didn't know until a few days ago this Pub served food. Good service. Best Panini I've had in ages. Food well presented and service with a smile. Absolutely nothing not to like. Will certainly go back. One 4 but, that's just me. ?
