Despite living close by I had never dropped into the cafe. My friend & I had coffee and tiffin accompanied by our dogs. We got a lovely welcome, great service & will definitely become regulars as we can incorporate a visit into our walks. Our dogs, one large, one small, were the centre of attention & loved meeting the staff, volunteers & customers. They got their own bowl of water & splashing it on the floor was not frowned upon! The walled garden the cafe sits in is beautiful.
I came across the walled cafe by chance yesterday and was pleased that I did.Lovely atmosphere, bright cheerful surroundings.Staff and volunteers were helpful and friendly. Food and service was excellent.Keep up the good work that is being done there.I would highly recommend a visit to the cafe.Jean

The garden is lovely and well worth a visit. The coffee option is self service, there are cakes too and an honesty box for paying. There is a little shop selling arts and crafts and there are occasional plant sales. A very peaceful spot to spend a morning or afternoon and it would be a very lovely place to take small children and meet up with friends. You could take a picnic and enjoy the lovely garden.
