“We were lucky enough to get a table on a Friday night for our tea. We regularly eat at The Ploughman as it’s local to us, I was all set for having my usual Scampi as it’s the best in town until the special caught our attention, pan fried skin on cod served on a bed of cabbage, coriander sautéd potatoes, topped with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce, it was absolutely amazing. The presentation was outstanding, it was cooked beautifully and portion size was good, all for £18, I only wish I’d taken a picture. Staff and service perfect as always, thank you for a great evening.”
