We had stopped in to grab some dinner after looking at a few local sites. There is parking in front of the restaurant which is nice, the place has got a menu with a good variety. My girlfriend and I shared the lasagna which was deliciously cheesy and saucy along with a diavola pizza. I also had the pate which was quite good! Over all a pleasant dining experience, and we wouldn’t mind going back!

Traditional bar with separate lounge & reasonable selection of beers. One of the few places in Aberdeen with BASS on draught & hot-pies still for sale. Very pleasant bar-staff & good service....would go back.

Once again we had a wonderful meal and service (especially Mel) . Great food and portions, I couldn’t even manage pudding, (even with there being flake cheesecake). Look forward to coming back in the New year.

After recently residing in the area , returning from many years out of country it was great to return and find such a warm and welcoming place to relax after a hard day's work or cool down in the sunshine in the outside seating area.Family business with staff and pubgoers all having that friendly welcome mentality that makes you feel at home straight away.No need to test the others in the area as once you walk in the door, you feel the warm and no beady eyes staring at you, wondering which clan you represent.Keep up the good work , Richard & Jo and Chris!!

When I worked up there on the construction of the AWPR bypass was my favourite hostelry by far people were very friendly cracking pint loved watching the football on a Sunday afternoon loved my time up there in bonny Scotland

Top takeaway! Proper chunks of meat in the dishes, not gristly at all. My only comment - we got a portion of rice that we did not order (but it was very nice rice ?)
