We had stopped in to grab some dinner after looking at a few local sites. There is parking in front of the restaurant which is nice, the place has got a menu with a good variety. My girlfriend and I shared the lasagna which was deliciously cheesy and saucy along with a diavola pizza. I also had the pate which was quite good! Over all a pleasant dining experience, and we wouldn’t mind going back!

Traditional bar with separate lounge & reasonable selection of beers. One of the few places in Aberdeen with BASS on draught & hot-pies still for sale. Very pleasant bar-staff & good service....would go back.

This Is your local friendly cafe in Peterculter. Soup and sandwich for lunch, baked potato with choice of fillings or cakes and biscuits. Coffee and tea and soft drinks. Great service. Toilet wheelchair accessible. Bike rack outside if you wish a short break from cycling along the old railway track.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience truly deserves one. We decided last-minute to go out for my mum’s birthday. With our young daughter’s very limited diet, dining out can be a real challenge, so we hadn’t booked a table — unsure if she’d manage or if we’d even stay. The place was full, but the staff went out of their way to find us a spot, and we were so grateful. We brought food from home for our daughter as usual, but then something amazing happened she saw my sister’s macaroni, decided to try it, and absolutely loved it. A small moment for some, but for us, it meant everything. We thanked the chef personally, and his genuine joy was unforgettable. He congratulated our daughter and even packed some up for her to take home. The food was fantastic, the staff so kind, and your chef is a real credit to your team. Thank you for turning what could have been a difficult evening into a beautiful memory. Thank you!

When I worked up there on the construction of the AWPR bypass was my favourite hostelry by far people were very friendly cracking pint loved watching the football on a Sunday afternoon loved my time up there in bonny Scotland

Culter Curry House

Delicious curries, hence the name. The naan and poppadoms are also excellent - I was skeptical at first when you could just buy them from a store, but they're miles and miles better than supermarket stuff.

One drawback is that the humidity of the place due to the constantly cooking curry can be unbearable after more than 5 minutes - there is a TV playing stuff usually, though. Honestly, I still think it's worth it, because their recipes are really nice.

Staff are jovial and kind-spirited people.
