We were lucky enough to get a table on a Friday night for our tea. We regularly eat at The Ploughman as it’s local to us, I was all set for having my usual Scampi as it’s the best in town until the special caught our attention, pan fried skin on cod served on a bed of cabbage, coriander sautéd potatoes, topped with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce, it was absolutely amazing. Great food, with gluten free and vegan options. They don't skimp on portion sizes either.Vegetarian options: Good vegan options (nacho bowl)Dietary restrictions: Their gluten free haddock was amazing and they mentioned they cook it in a separate/dedicated fryer to make it actually gluten free and avoid cross contamination. Brilliant service.

4 of us had a delightful meal last night, All courses were hot and very tasty. A very good menu selection but please book because it is so good it is very busy. Will definitely return.
