Harbour Spring

Why is this place not packed out? I know there’s been issues in the past here but the team have turned it around and are producing lovely meals. I’ve been many, many times over recent months and it just keeps improving. The food was always good but often there was quite a wait for the food to come. Now though, serving times have sped up and one doesn’t have to wait too long for food. All staff pleasant and courteous. My wife and I just can’t fault it. We mentioned a hot sauce on one dish and doubted we would like it and the manager came with a small sample for us to taste and we were right, it was too hot. It just shows that they will go the extra mile to provide customer satisfaction.

Dolphin Cafe

Amazing chipper with sit down seating. Probably the freshest fish & chips you could have in the NE of Scotland. Prices were a little high for that reason but you do get what you pay for. Service was great but it is a chipper so that’s not really the point is it?

Asha's Indian Aroma

First time ever been here, but one of my best experiences with indian dishes. Highly recommend it to someone who's traveling around here and loves indian dishes!

WOK IN

I always used a different Chinese takeaway but they have really went downhill so started using wok in a while back and ive never had a bad meal yet. The premises is spotless too which speaks for itself. Staff friendly and polite and great prices.

China Town

Bland ! Cooks should be embarrassed ? no ,spice no flavour , sauce is the same that you can buy in farm foods, pathetic, obviously this is new owners, won't be going ,and will not recommend ?

Fish Book

We switched to Fishbook chip shop in Peterhead from a well-known place in town because we were fed up with waiting 45 minutes to an hour for our meals. We are definitely glad we did! Fishbook is probably the best chipper in Peterhead. The selection of fish they have is great. The food is always cooked perfectly, and it tastes amazing. We have never regretted switching to Fishbook. Highly recommend!

Cafe Nineteen

Went here for lunch today with my wife and little one. Staff very polite and helpful, we were sat quickly and ordered after a few minutes perusing the menu. I had the Loaded Fries and my wife had a Panini. Food came promptly and was very tasty. I had a good cappuccino too. We ended our meal with a cake and a fruit scone which were also very good.
Well worth a visit.

Arandos Peterhead

Working outside his shop, in the snow and rain. This gentleman helped our suffering with hot drinks and kind words of encouragement. To end the night we purchased a pizza and it was the best thing to finish a night shift too!Thank you for being a legend and helping out! Those hot drinks were a god send.Parking: City centre but street parking 10 metres from door

Oriental City

This is our go to Chinese takeaway each and every time. My whole family enjoy the starters mainly chicken satay, BBQ ribs, spring rolls and wontons, main courses normally Peking Chicken, beef in black bean sauce etc Food always hot and most times we get a freebie starter ?

Far East

Our food was absolutely delicious, first time we have had food from here and I can’t recommend it enough, the food was fresh and the dishes were packed with my vegetarian meal was so tasty, can’t recommend it enough..will definitely be back ♥️

This was an amazing visit with my mates we got free cookies and the service was brilliant I totally recommend the food was great as well I am definitely going back

New Diners

Go here quite often. You get both fish and chips and Chinese takeaway. Have tried both and can’t complain. The shop looks clean and tidy, the staff are pleasant and the food is good. Portion sizes are good and the prices are very reasonable compared to other chip shops in Peterhead.

Duo Duo

We have been using Duo duo for a while now. Both lovers of Chinese food we cannot fault this take away. Always absolutely lovely and delivered in a very timely fashion. Highly recommended ?

Pearl Of The East Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway

Great food, great service, but for a child's meal and 2 adults it cost £79.18!!. But the same meal as a carry out cost £38.50. WOW!. only be getting carry outs from there only now

Wheelchair accessibility: Nice huge entrance and ample space for wheeling in and obtaining a perfect srating position.

Marmaris

Always greeted by friendly, smiling staff, who often remember our order. Food is always fresh and piping hot. Staff are chatty while you wait for a takeaway. Pizzas are so fresh & cooked ro perfection, and chicken fantasia is highly recommended.

Marco's Chipper

Always buy my 'supper' from Marco's when I'm in Peterhead. Excellent batter on fish and chips are our traditional chunky real tattie chips! I think their prices are well matched with other 'chippers' but you now have an option of small, standard or jumbo haddock. The rest of the menu is full of many of the standard choices of pies, puddings, etc but they also do local choices and meal deals. Large waiting area but you can wait outside for fresh air if a 'chipper' smell is nae tae yer likin' an' yer nae there fir the banter!!!!

Lovely place to go eat or have a drink , Staff and owner are so caring and accommodating . I am glad I found this little piece of paradise . Definitely be back here

The Harbour Lights (Peterhead) Ltd

Very nice pub, we were in there lunchtime on a weekday, it was quiet but the people that were there were just great, including the young lady that served us, we went back the next day because it was Meeko's (local gent) birthday, we had a great time. Thank you to all the people we met for making us feel so welcome.

A big thank you, when travelling in our Motorhome, we always look for a Wetherspoon's on our travels, and they certainly know what the customer is looking for. Excellent choice and value for money.

Clerkhill Fishbar

Pretty , pretty , good !.Went here for the first time on the 22nd of June . The chips were amazing & the batter on the meat dishes we had was superb. Served in quality cardboard boxes. I was very impressed. Well done !.

Chips cheese and special sauce for £8.50 is ridiculous.\nStaff and service are junior so not gonna give them a hard time.\nFood wasn't the best they've done this time, chips were luke warm

Had an afternoon tea for 4 here yesterday and it was the best one I’ve had by far - the food was so good and there was plenty of it, we all took boxes home. Staff were friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend and will be back!

Mariners Cafe

fish and chips excellent, very welcoming and they let us in with the dog,,which was really good as the dolphin restaurant won't let us in because we had the dog.

Great place in Peterhead with a friendly atmosphere. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the staff are welcoming and professional. Highly recommend for a meal or drinks.

Ingrams Bakery

Great Bakery, love their pies, even though they are small, they are so tasty. Lots of other Bakery products, and all competitively priced.Service can be a hit or a miss, with the more mature assistants stopping half way through serving you to catch up on the latest gossip, I even stopped going for a while because of the poor service. If I was marking it on their service it would be 1 star!The other less mature assistants they now have a great asset, serving you professionally and quickly.

The Caley Bar

Friendly bar that has kept it's spirit over the years it's being renovated over time into a live music venue. A range of talented musicians play Friday and Saturday. There's a playful obsession with star wars the regulars and staff have ;)

SYMPOSIUM coffee house

Had a very short stop here and they were really kind, I took a wrap that was delicious and my mocha was well balances between chocolate and coffee, I recommend !

A Special Treat

Family run business that makes you feel special. The attention to detail, customer care, and food presentation are top-notch. Very good prices also. The cakes are also amazing, with plenty of gluten-free options. They also do takeaway for soups and coffee. Lovely little gem.

The Coffee Shop @ Balmoor

Nice wee addition to the coffee shop scene in Peterhead. Very friendly staff. Not a huge choice for vegetarians but the options that do exist are tasty and the traybakes are "affa fine".

Mayfair Bar

I was at an Engagement Party in the Mayfair Bar & Lounge last night,service, friendliness and service was first class but what amazed me most was the cleanliness of the toilets which says a lot to me, an old saying you could have eaten your dinner off the floor.

The Refuge Café

Took my friend here on Sunday. Very impressed with the staff and our food.
Chicken broth and sandwich were delicious. Also the Caber coffee is a treat. Sticky toffee pudding on also which is a favourite.
The staff were very attentive and we will certain be back again.

Symposium Coffee House Ltd.

My husband and I visited the Portsoy branch this week. Quick & prompt service each day from Rachel, Carol and Sophie who gave their service with a smile. These girls are a credit to your business. We will be back again soon!

Station Bar

The station bar has a pool table, shows football, good jukebox and friendly staff. My friend and I often meet here often to have a game of pool before walking down to the cinema.

Waverley Bar

I stumbled upon the Waverley Bar while in Peterhead, searching for somewhere to watch the early Saturday football match on tv, before visiting Peterhead FC. It's daunting walking into a bar in a small town in Scotland when you are clearly English, but immediately I was made very very welcome!!!!!! No real ales were available, but various lagers and ciders were. I watched the football, had a few drinks and was made that welcome that I personally said goodbye to everyone in the bar. I can't stress how welcome I was made!! Great conversation with great people!!! If I'm in the area I will be sure to revisit the fabulously friendly Waverley Bar, Peterhead ❤️

Local pub grub bang on point service was great burger was the best burger I have ever ate from there. haggis fritter magic crunch on them biting in to them and the haggis melted in my moo banging sauces were lovley but I don’t think that was sweet chilli more like kung po lol pudding were delicious service was great polite friendly and on point any visitors in town I would highly recommended here if your looking for pub grub

Oh my goodness just had a chicken kebab with everything ,it was delicious, not had errols for a long time ,
Also a cabonara and portion of chips
Very well priced ,good size portion ,service quick and the order staff answered my question efficiently
Will be back .

Used drive through tonight, ordered 4 plain burgers in 2 buns , 3 times l said plain burgers as girl seemed not to grasp what a plain burger was, man came on and twice told him plain burgers no cheese. When l got home low and behold l had 4 burgers covered with cheese !!! Really mad as l"d not eaten all day as l was looking forward to my burgers. Ended up giving them to my dog. It's a treat for me to have a McDonald's so this has really made me mad after repeating myself so many times .
