Unit 5, Colpy Business Park, Oldmeldrum, Inverurie1st time using this café, great friendly, helpful service, do meals, snacks etc, although we only had their lovely homemade cakes & coffee, parking, disabled access and toilets, also do takeaway, will definitely visit again.Kid-friendliness: High chair available.Parking: Parking is limited to 2 hours but can hand in registration if going to be longer.Dietary restrictions: Know there is a selection of milks, but would need to ask owners regarding anything else.

The Meldrum Cafe
Town Hall The Square, Oldmeldrum, InverurieLovely wee coffee shop, nothing to special, coffee normal, cake normal, staff very friendly so what makes it different? Its as cheap as chips, honestly, 2 coffees and a slice of cake, £5.60. Give it me every day. Only 1 complaint, the wee train on the shelf running round 3 walls doesn't work. If I stayed close by, I'd volunteer and have it running again. Choo Choo??? (Thats it above the red wall.)

1236 Cave Bar at Meldrum House
Meldrum House Country Hotel & Golf Course, Oldmeldrumwe had an issue with parking at the front of the building as the car park had reached capacity, we had no other option but to park in a disabled bay - the Christmas decorations were stunning as is the overall warm and traditional feel of the interior and exterior, the food was beautiful (the Turkey dinner to be precise) however the portion sizes were far too small for the price range, we enjoyed the Malteser cheesecake and a few lovely cocktails. It was very busy on a Saturday night, the staff were pleasant and approachable but they were rushed and overstretched so it was less of the relaxed environment I had hoped for but nonetheless it was still an enjoyable evening. Candles were not lit in the corners of the Cave Bar which would have been a nice extra touch. Sky Bar is unique and fun.

Mai Thai
Unit 3, Colpy Business Park, Oldmeldrum, InverurieFirst time - carryout meal ordered. Large portions, all starters and mains were very good. Probably the best Chinese/ Thai carryout for a long time. Will definitely be back for more. Chicken satay, red curry, also duck parcels and spring rolls recommended.
