Awful experience at Big licks tonight. Arrived and waited by the sign labelled "wait here to be seated" for several minutes but no one came, so we walked up to the counter and asked to order and was told we needed to be seated first. So we were then taken to a table and left there. Having already decided what we wanted to order, tried to get the attention of someone to take our order. We were told by passing staff that someone would be over in a few minutes, but no one came. We then grabbed the attention of the same member of staff as she passed some time later, and were given the same response that someone would be over in a few minutes. After waiting even longer, another member of staff came over and abruptly asked us for our order reference. Not knowing what she was talking about, we explained no one had taken our order in the whole time we had been there. Rather than apologise or offer any sort of explanation, we were abruptly told, "well it's only her second shift" as though it was our fault for not being patient enough. She then said someone could come over and take the order in a few minutes but by this time we had had enough and said we would leave. She then shouted "fine" and walked off. She was not wearing a name badge which is unfortunate as she deserved to be named and shamed as one of the rudest people I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. I will NEVER set foot in a big licks ever again. Poor show from start to finish.

Visited and on arrival stood waiting in a queue to get to the front and be told I shouldn’t have queued as we wanted to sit in. We had been standing by the wait here to be seated sign but no one came and one member of staff was standing not doing anything looking at us.Once seated we waited for 15 mins to be served. I then returned to desk and asked if we could order and was told by the same girl that sat us that she would come and take our order at table. 10 mins passes and when she passes us I ask again and she tells me ‘2 mins’ then 10 mins later another member of staff comes and asks us for our order reference. We explained we have yet to order. This member of staff told us it was the other member of staffs second shift (no apology) we then made the decision to leave as this member of staffs attitude absolutely put us off spending any more of our time or money in this establishment. The line ‘that’s fine’ as she walked away when we said we would just go particularly stands out as a summary of the experience

In general, first time visit, menu nice, could do with more selection of soft drink ie iron bru and also more diet coke etc, staff were nice, the toilets appear to be unisex ie the door sign shows both male and female, the water could be hotter and better handwash, and offer of hand towels, we will be back. Good effort though

Absolute terrible customer service. Place was dead was left standing for ages without being approached by anyone, while staff stood about doing nothing. To add to that was refused a window seat despite the place being empty. Left without even ordering and won't be back.

On entering, we thought this was going to be good, open, very clean, and bright displays. However, it went downhill from there.We were shown, or rather dumped at a table. We were not asked if we'd been there before or if we knew how things worked. After sitting for a while waiting to order, we noticed a board saying "scan here to order". We had no idea what to do, we tried to call for help but the backs of the booths were so high we couldn't see anything and the waitress had no chance of seeing us, thankfully another customer helped us. We ordered a burger, fries and a coke, when it arrived I haven't say I thought the burger had been taken off the kitchen floor, paper thin burger, see through onions (6 bits), shredded lettuce (4 small excuses for bits) cheese and sauce, I think you can tell I was not impressed.The chips, where a decent basket full was given, I think they had been washed in the dead sea, there was more salt than chips and as such we couldn't finish them despite still being hungry.Coke zero, hard to mess up right? Well they managed it.. two open bottles were delivered with our meal, both without glasses or even a straw!!Endless to say we won't be spending another £31 here again!! And I'll also not be recomending this place to anyone, infact, I'll be recommending people don't come here! It's not worth the money! Five guys is a better burger and cheaper!!
