A lovely place clean and tidy, staff were amazing and the food was excellent. It arrived a little late but apologies were given and a free drink was offered. A lovely afternoon and would definitely return when next visiting. Thank you very much.

Sapphire restaurant was incredible. Awesome menu . Seafood and grill selection was fabulous . Attentive and polite staff were so nice.Adding to the above review, we decided to try the Antico bar for food and drink. Extensive menu of cocktails and wines/beers.Well varied menu to choose from which did not disappoint, service was swift and staff were polite.Has to be one of the best views in Scotland….the restaurant maintains the standard to match the viewsHighly recommended.

Service charge was added to literally everything when we paid our drinks and food bill at the end of our stay.Room didn't appear to be cleaned in any way between night 1 and 2 - no big deal had we paid half the price but we hadn't.Breakfast! Bowl of granola, slice of toast. Wee breakfast - 1 egg, 1 rasher of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 potato scone. 2 coffees, 2 orange juice. Came to over £27! Then they added another 10% service charge so over £30. Wow.

Really disappointed at lunch here, chicken burger was way overcooked to a point of being inedible. Nachos and chips overcooked too, certainly not what we were expecting. Maybe just a bad day in the kitchen but has put us off returning unfortunately ?

Eaten here many a time but today was poor. The mussels in white wine garlic & cream sauce were revolting. Sorry a strong word but I’m at a loss to say anything different. Sent back to kitchen, second plate arrives, just as bad as the first with much more of the thick tasteless white gunk marketed as a sauce. It was like a roux before adding the liquid! Still gagging now, 4 hours later. Won’t be back.

We have visited on a number of occasions and always found the food and staff to be top notch. They are knowledgeable about dietry requirements and go over and above to help.
