For a wee while now I have wanted to visit the Boat House but never had the chance so luckily for us we had some time. It was Wednesday and it just opened. We had two latte's first,then I had the fish and chips and my wife had the brushetta starter and the goats cheese starter. What an outstanding meal! Ate here tonight with a friend and we both had the cajun spiced salmon on a shrimp and pea risotto, a side of garlic bread , and then panna cotta and the brownie for dessert. The mains were absolutely divine, cooked to perfection and lovely flavours. Desserts also delicious. As driving we had soft drinks. The service was very good too, really nice cheerful girl.
