Please come visit this little gem! Hidden in a quiet alley it was such a pleasant surprise, good food, incredibly nice staff, and super dog friendly to the point of bringing a little dish of treats and a bowl of water for my dog (after asking if that was OK of course!). I will definitely be back and recommend it to all my friends :)

We had coffee and cakes but they are all shop bought and the scones were very stale. We also enquired about allergies and they didn’t know as the items were bought in but they had thrown out the packaging. The atmosphere was nice and a but quirky.

Fabulous lunch. Couldn’t fault anything. Great service, lovely food. Will go back without hesitation.

We were lucky to get a seat as this place is very small and always busy. We had lovely lentil soup and a massive bloomer sandwich. They are fantastic with dogs as well.

We were looking for somewhere to eat in a Sunday and everywhere was busy and we came across Jarvies they had one spare table so we sat down. Menu was simple but lots of tempting choices. Prices seemed OK for St Andrews, however when the food arrived the quality and size was above what was expected. My husband had baked potato and I had the focaccia and both were delicious. Generous salad and crisps on the side, overall great value. We will be back again, particularly as we didn't spot the cakes until we were leaving so will have to try them. Good choice for vegetarians and a couple of vegan options as wellVegetarian options: Mozzarella and pesto focaccia, cheese and chutney sandwich, ploughman's salad, plus a couple of cheese and something jacket potatoes also a couple of vegan options.

Was in yesterday, had amazing scones with jam and cream, cakes looked good and very reasonable, would have been a pig to have eaten both but will go back, staff were lovely.

We stopped here for a drink and snack. All seemed good, drinks were nice, but our scones were the worst we have ever had! We passed on the cream and berries, opting for scones and butter. We did not expect our scones to come cut open and smeared with margarine! They were horribly dry, possibly yesterday's, pretty unpleasant. We mentioned this when paying and got a perfunctory apology. Not good enough! Very disappointing.
