Fabulous opulent hotel....and a slightly odd rustic bar. Great service but drinks are very expensive so not a place to be hanging around in unless you're minted....

The staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Truly spectacular, with fine views of the broody, rugged landscape of Swilcan Burn, in a fine, picturesque enclave. The service of Bea Kershaw was particularly distinguished, who was exceptionally and disarmingly warm as I entered this establishment.

Really great place with a nice menu and superb staff.

Katie and her team made us feel very welcome indeed, especially looking after our dog, he loved the attention. Food was great albeit limited bar menu, however can’t fault it whatsoever. Lovely and attentive service, great food and wine and well worth the experience. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Had lunch today, was ok, very expensive for what was actually served. Small portion of what seemed like oven fries, hardly any chicken in club sandwich and £7 to add chicken to a salad is nuts!! Service charged automatically added onto bill…..wasn’t much service at allDisappointing

Great place under Rusacks hotel. Nice location, nice staff, great hot chocolate?

Always a friendly welcome in an ideal location next to 18th. A good selection of beer, cocktails and food. There are a few other venues within this hotel.

Stylish attractive bar with really nice staff with big screens for sport. Lots of tables unnecessarily reserved early in the afternoon for later bookings but other than that, well worth a visit.

Nice casual bar, lacks the ambiance and very slow service
On a Sunday night it was quite hard to find the bar from inside the hotel. It was noisey and distracting from multiple wall TV's. Students coming and going through a slamming back door. At least staff take table orders (in preference to clearing tables). We gave up the idea of eating or a second drink and left.

Stopped off for some food, I'm so glad that I did. I opted for the Sunday Roast and it was delicious. Served by Katie at the bar, she was very bubbly, friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks on offer. I sat at a table for my dinner and was served by a young lady called Neve, again, very friendly and more than happy to engage in conversation. I was made to feel very welcome during my visit and received a fond farewell on departing. I will definitely be coming back.

After a walk through the lovely town or on the beach, stopping in at the hotel's One Under Pub for a drink is a must. You have a choice of cosy snugs or you can enjoy the multiple large screens that show sporting events.

Fantastic bar and the staff were friendly, chatty and welcoming. Our winter local has been found after a few weeks of research!

Soulless when off season.
