Friendly, great value cafe. Excellent espresso coffee. Most places sugar is needed to hide the bitter taste but not here just enjoy the coffee.

One of the coziest and most comfortable places in St Andrews, with great food and a soothing ambience. It is not a large place, so do not come in here with a group of 20 friends, but come here by yourself or with one other person and relax and listen to the soul music playing on the radio. Compared to other cafes I've been to in St Andrews, this one feels more intimate. Buy a toastie and a cup of tea and feel yourself insulated from the chaos of the outside world. Being here made me feel wistful and vaguely nostalgic. That was in part because the art and music reminded me of back home in America, but it's more because this place captures the atmosphere of a soft and vibrant memory dreamily remembered.

We enjoyed a delightful mid morning bite to eat at the brilliant Canny Soul. The staff were so lovely, attentive and hopsitable. My first experience of a square sausage and a tattie scone will be hard to beat!! Definitely recommend.

What a find. Quirky small cafe with a range of breakfast rolls and toasties. Reasonable prices with no frills good honest food. Coffee and a bacon roll hit the spot. Interesting decor inside and some outside seating.

Unquestionably the best bacon and egg roll available, served with a friendly and respectful welcome in a very cool cafe.

We have stopped here for coffee and something to eat on our last two visits to St Andrews. The staff are lovely - very friendly, polite, and helpful. Service is fast. Food is fresh and tasty. Coffee great. I like the jaffa cake which comes with coffee. We like the outside tables, especially the one in front of the window, under the awning so that if there is a sudden rain shower then you are sheltered. Very good value for money compared to a lot of other places in St Andrews.

I had a delicious ham and cheese toastie on a gluten free roll! The coffee was delicious as well and everyone was super friendly. Great find in St Andrews!!

Was served by the freindlest smilest young lady...only had light refreshments very reasonably priced...as was the rest of everything listed on the menu...others were eating the food looked plentiful and well presented..must have been good as plenty of empty plates

We’re having coffee at a lively outside table. Good coffe, brought with a smile - and accompanied by a ‘wee Jaffa’. I want to come back.

Always stop off here for a Lorne roll and cappuccino, very reasonable prices. And you get a Jaffa cake with the coffee!

Wonderful toasties and coffee served sitting outside on a lovely day . Excellent service from a gorgeous young woman with a lovely smile , who seemed taken by my flares . Will definitely return .

Stopped for a coffee but added a cheese sandwich which was amazing thank you.Wheelchair accessibility: We were sat outside. One person was a wheelchair user but if needed access indoors would be a breeze. Area inside is small but nice.

Good non nonsense BLT (and a cheese one-no plastic cheese here). Very good value menu all freshly prepared and very friendly service. Excellent latte.
