I would move here Fife Scotland to eat here every single day. I have eaten here every day for the last 14 days straight. One of my favorite spots on Earth. The coldest Guinness. The best Steak & Ale Pie. (Mancow tip: mix a side of mac & cheese into your pie.) Local Lowland whiskeys. Great staff: the owner, Phil, Sophie,and the great Frasier. Just phantasmagorical ! Honestly, I am NOT kidding, at one point sitting at this place I wondered if I am dead and this is one aspect of my Heaven.

The food here is outstanding. I got the fish and chips, and my husband got the burger. Both were all eaten. We had to eat outside because the inside was packed. Wish they had offered more water for my hot tea as it was really cold. This place is wonderful. Service was great, and food food came out very fast.

Great service and atmosphere friendly staff good selection of beer and food menu. Always introducing new drinks / cocktails. Good breakfast rolls. New menu has been introduced, and some changes to the interior of the Criterion, but the same standards are maintained. It's worth a visit. Pet dogs welcomed.

We were only in for a couple of drinks , it was reasonably priced for the area and the staff were friendly enough . It would be unfair to judge it any less.

Great family owned pub with brilliant food choice and quality. Have been 3 times in last 6 months always the same welcome and quality so worked out this is how they are . Cannot recommend enough.Super dog friendly as
