Extremely disappointed at the food. Chef was just dishing up anything he liked today. Ordered sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream, fresh raspberries and walnuts. Was dished up cold sticky toffee pudding with a thick chocolate ice cream. Surely not!! Extremely disappointed to say the least, would not recommend.

We had a group booking here in September organised by Claire (Commercial Manager) and the assistance with the booking along with the food was flawless from start to finish.

Called in today at 12 ish, we were passing along in a camper van and just fancied cake and coffee, husband had the cream scone and hot chocolate I had capuchino with oat milk and a piece of vegan Sticky toffee cake with ice cream, all the food was delicious and presented well, the resteraunt was spotless and lovely and warm on a cold windy day and had stunning views, the staff were amazing, we were served by 2 very nice young ladies, it's lovely to see staff who clearly enjoy and take pride in their work. We will definately go back for a meal next time and would highly recommend to anyone passing by. P. S the fish and chips are gluten free and looked deliciousDietary restrictions: It was easy to get a vegan option. I'm very allergic and was catered for very well, there are plenty of options

We had visited Niblick for my birthday back in December and were impressed by the festive menu, so decided to return. Great position above the Golf Museum, opposite the Old Course and looking out over the West Sands,(Think Chariots of Fire beach race) Although it wasn’t busy, felt waiting 25 minutes for a starter was a wee bit long, although it did give us time to catch up with our two friends. Our waitress was called Goodness and was brilliant.. The food amazing..try the haggis or Cullen skink starter. 4 clean plates uplifted and the main course of 2 haddock fish cakes each with a perfect poached egg on top were beautiful. Finished off with a coffee….no room for desert. Used our Itison vouchers for the four of us that included a glass of wine. But the quality of the food won’t stop us paying full price in the future.

The place is great. The views of the golf course are stunning. The staff is super friendly and fast and the food is absolutely gorgeous. 100% recommended. Shout out to Khush and the rest of the staff.Kid-friendliness: They were really happy and quick to accommodate the double buggy (usually a problem in many places)

We booked a table for 7. Firsly the table was set for the wrong number of people. Then when we did get settled and the waiter took the order, 3 menu items were unavailable. So we worked around this choosing what was available. A different waiter then returned advising yet another chosen menu item was unavailable and a restricted number of other menu items were now available. A restaurant unable to sell food, what a joke. We all left in disgust. And had an amazing meal at Hams Hame.

Compliments to the chef. My friends and I had a wonderful experience at lunch here. The Niblick burger was tasty and the fries were cooked to perfection. The fish cakes, and fish and chips were amazing as well But I believe that what took 1st place was the steak pie. The presentation alone was phenomenal. Wait until you taste it. It was amazing on the palette. The beef so tender and the mash was creamy and flavorful. Mix it with the puff pastry and you will be in heaven. The price was reasonable. Highly recommended!!

A friend and I spontaneously stopped in for lunch as we were visiting St. Andrews today. We were greeted promptly with a bright smile and helpful gal named Khush. She not only us but was our server. She offered promt service.. very very warm and engaging of conversation. I decided I wanted to write a review and commend her for her excellent customer service, delighful personality. Having decided this as left, we were just outside leaving when she appeared as my friend left his valuable man purse on the chair.. He was so delighted as our bus was about to leave and he would have been in dire staights if he did not have his passport and personal affairs. So now Khush gets another thank you. I hope that she is recognized as a valuable employee by The Niblick Restaurant.. Thank you Khush for making our day a brighter one!!!
