Incredible views and amazing seafood. The halibut and shrimp butter and crab dishes were outstanding. Fresh seafood and excellent service and perfect for a beach walk

I cannot say enough about our meal. Every bite of every dish on every course we nothing short of perfect. Top 3 meal that I have ever had, ever.

My recent experience at this high-end restaurant left me utterly disappointed. The staff’s attitude was consistently rude throughout my visit. They wore perpetual scowls and made me feel like an inconvenience. To top it off, the manager’s tone when I asked for directions to the restroom was downright disrespectful. And when I mistakenly tried to pull a door with handles instead of pushing it, the manager’s condescending behavior was the last straw. This place not only lacks basic courtesy but also fails to understand the concept of customer service. Such behavior is inexcusable for an establishment of this caliber. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant until they address their severe customer service issues.

All of our seafood was perfectly prepared, delicious and innovative but simple at the same time. Wine list was excellent. Ambiance was beautiful as well.

Stopped for lunch while driving from Edinburgh to Ballater (yes, not exactly on the way but we had time). Everything was excellent and most importantly the food. While this is a seafood restaurant, the lamb was the best. Good wine by glass selection.

Few restaurants have good views and amazing food. This is one of the few. The lobster ravioli was one of my top ten meals ever.

After following the Instagram page for this restaurant for a while, my friends and I had dinner on Friday night. The location is great and the views are gorgeous. To start, we all had an oyster each, they were huge and the choices of tabsacco were excellent. I then had the smoked eel which was a picture on the plate, the crab was light and the tomato consommé was beautiful. My friends had the lobster raviolo and the scallops, both dishes looked elegant and and the flavours were delicious. I chose the bacon wrapped monkfish with gnocchi for my main, which was drizzled with a thick chicken butter sauce, bringing the whole dish together. We had a great server, who was really helpful with recommendations and kept checking in on us after each course, which was really appreciated. However the wine menu options are a little vague. Normally the menu states- small glass, large glass, then bottle, but here the bottle section is for a carafe. Therefore my friends opted for what they thought was a bottle at £30, but the bottle price is six pages into the menu at £55. The price wasn't the negative point, it was the delivery of the info when we checked with the waiter who brought our bill, he came over menu in hand and stated very smuggly " Bad news ladies! That bottle IS £55!" We felt he had obviously been queried on this before due to his attitude, proving that the wine menu isn't clear and confusing. I would definitely recommend the food here, the kitchen really do know their stuff and the presentation is phenomenal, but the wine menu should be reviewed for the future.

Our evening started when we were greeted by a charming host Andy who offered us a nice, private table for our group of eight. His timing was impeccable…always checking on us at the right time and added something special to our evening. The food was outstanding. Although we ordered several different appetizers and main courses, everyone raved about the quality of the food. The sommelier recommended a moderately priced Spanish wine that we will no doubt order by the case when we get home. It complimented our meal perfectly. I don’t know when we will be back in St. Andrew’s but if we are, this restaurant will definitely require a return visit!

Beautifully presented amazing food, excellent staff, very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Great seats in the window with a lovely sea breeze to keep us cool. Fantastic way to celebrate wedding anniversary!

We had high expectations and the restaurant delivered. Our large group was welcomed into a semi-private area and were treated to excellent service and food throughout the evening. Lobster ravioli was a generous portion served in a tasty bisque-like sauce. Scallop starter offered three large scallops, beautifully prepared. Setting was so lovely that I had to stop and photograph the view from the window. A very memorable meal.

We always love visiting the Seafood restaurant. Food is consistently good. I’ve never had a bad dish.Really high quality seasonal ingredients cooked well. No pretentious drama with foams, essences, dry ice etc. The food doesn’t need that, it speaks for itself. If you haven’t visited before the view is stunning, right on the water. The staff are excellent, they always give 5 star service that is seamless. We always look forward to returning, it’s fast becoming our favourite restaurant.
