Fantastic Mexican food in a casual setting. It is what I would call "comfort food", a phrase I came up with recently.

I went to Ziggys for a meal on the 20th of December with three friends on a Christmas day out. We were not disapointed !! Great food ( so tasty ), great cheerful service and overall a superb experience. I can't praise it enough. Highly recommend a visit, try the ribs and Chicken wing combo, amazing !!Ronnie Laing.

Ziggy's is the best! You can't meet nicer hosts and you can't get better food. ANYWHERE!!

hi I have know idea how this restaurant gets a good rating. We booked a table for Sunday the2/12/2023 only time we could get was 6 15 because it was so busy. God knows why. to start I could not get a seeded bun for my hamburger not a good start ordered it with stilton cheese, there was a scrape of cheese on the burger, my wife a cheese burger ,same thing hardly any cheese, coleslaw no dressing, we complained, the girl said she would tell the chef, nothing happened did not try to remedy the problem or offer a discount. I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could shocking and not cheapDietary restrictions: no comment

Great customer service and delicious food. Our two year old had a tantrum immediately when we walked in the door and the two working couldn’t have been more accommodating in getting our food to go.

Food and customer service were great ?. But the atmosphere was not for me. It looks a bit untidy and the ceiling fans were very dusty and I kept wondering what if the dust particles drop on my food.

Went for lunch today with my other half, ordered 2 steak burgers with sweet potato fries and normal chips, my fries were completely burnt physically couldn’t eat them and my partners chips were undercooked, overall £48 including 2 cokes and onion rings, left feeling sick and now have dodgy stomachs after the dodgy meat burger. Not one to leave bad reviews but really disappointed and not cheap either.

Fantastic food! Had the nachos and a lamb burger couldn't ask for more. Only trouble is there was a golf convention so the town was full of pretentious people called Jeremy and

Cannot rate Ziggy's highly enough from the welcome at the door to the complimentary dessert for my friend's birthday. As we sat down, I quickly realised my seat was damp, this was replaced immediately and a round of drinks on the house!! An unexpected gesture but very welcome as we enjoyed tasty Margheritas. We shared nachos for starters and they were loaded with cheese and the salsa alongside the guacamole and sour cream was the best I've had. Our mains of Macaroni cheese, chilli, steak burger and chicken Caesar salad were all delicious and healthy portions. I can't remember when I struggled to finish a salad!! Every dish was polished off with excellent, well priced wine. A tasty ice cream and toffee sauce with a candle arrived as a surprise for my friend's birthday and we all had to help her finish it off. We will be back very soon ❤️

Great to just walk in & get a table on a Weds night without booking. Friendly efficient staff. Honest menu, hasn’t changed much in 30 years other than Fajitas now feature. Chips were soggy (had been pre-cooked but not reheated sufficiently to create crispness) & steaks were all trade-marked British cooked! (Ie rare came as medium-rare, medium rare as medium & the other medium rare as medium- well). Still, if you want steak cooked properly go to France! Roquefort sauce tasty, if a little watery. Wine pleasant on immediate drinking & reasonably priced. They added a 5% tip for a table of 3, which is slightly cheeky to a Brit’s way of thinking; but as service was good (even if steak not cooked as specified) we went with it (that’s the French in me!)

Wonderful service and fantastic food. Great music from 80s vibes. You must remember to book in advance ?

Booked our anniversary dinner with the kids at Ziggy’s as we were holidaying in that part of the world. Had seen it a few times and been curious but this was the first time we had tried it. Booked well in advance which was good as it was very busy and we saw lots of people being turned away. Restaurant decor was great, very cool and lots to look at if you like rock memorabilia (which I really do), music was cool and then a live singer came in later on who was great too. Food and service were both really good, staff very friendly and attentive and food very tasty and well done. All round a very enjoyable evening and I would definitely recommend

I enjoyed my visit to Ziggys. As a music fan, loved the music memorabilia on the walls. Burger was very good, but my friend was disappointed with the fish (expected fresher and better, being right on the coast). Mixed bag with the staff: one very friendly and helpful; the younger lass noticeably less so.
