“They were hopping busy on the day we visited. Easy walk from the train station (in the opposite direction of Old Town/Castle). We ordered panini style sandwiches and fries. They were delicious. Service was fast and friendly. We had a short wait but didn't mind. Definitely recommend.”

“We just went to the Woodhouse for breakfast after a busy weekend at Back Doune the Rabbit Hole.
We were a bit early for the cafe but the staff in the shop were so friendly and told us to come in for a little wander and to bring our dog (who even got some ham). We waited for breakfast and the food didn't disappoint. It was delicious and the staff in the cafe were just as lovely as the shop staff. What a welcoming place with delicious food. We hope to be back soon.”

“Lovely place inside. Food was delicious. Staff were okay. Unfortunately there was a bloke outside, chain smoking for almost the entire time. His smoke was being blown inside by the breeze, so we had to endure second hand cigarette smoke while eating. The cafe should ban smoking in their outside area.”

“Excellent afternoon tea , much better than one at a very prestigious hotel in Perthshire. Served by a very attentive young man . Would certainly go again.”

“Gabes is our favourite place to eat in Stirling! We are in often for business lunches and with family. There's something on the menu for everyone, the food is out of this world, cosy atmosphere and fantastic staff.”

“Pleasant pub serving good food. Cheerful dedicated staff.
Green King are miles ahead of Wetherspoons which I haven't been in since bad experience in one of their Lancashire outlets last year.”

“Best food I had in Scotland. Pricey and far from the town center but completely worth it.”

“I was warmly welcomed in here. This place has character as it is an older building. I was chuffed to get a window seat. I was only looking for a cup of tea since I had already had my lunch. Highly recommended cafe.”
