We absolutely loved our stay at the Black Bull recently. The setting, the pub, the restaurant and the rooms were all fantastic and we felt very well looked after throughout. All the staff we met were kind, friendly and extremely helpful and we felt warmly welcomed. We had an evening meal which was delicious and very good value and our breakfast was cooked to order and was really superb. We will definitely be returning and I would highly recommend a stay here!
We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely, a super room. Great breakfast and very friendly in the bar in the evening. The Black Bull is a great location to explore the local area. Would definitely recommend.

The building has such a great history. Make sure you read about it before or when visiting, because you will look with a different mindset.The rooms where clean and the bed enormous. The carpet was not that clean, because of kind of big spots, but maybe that is fixable. The shower is great. And the food and the people are so kind and friendly!
