“Had a really good meal here on Saturday evening. We both had steak pie, which was a good sized portion with lots of pieces of tender beef and came with a jug of gravy - that's bonus points in my book! Vegetables and chips well cooked too, with a good bite to the broccoli.The only very slight downside was that the vinyl on the seating was damaged, and I had to be careful not to catch my clothing on it.Pub was very clean, and staff were friendly and efficient. Prices for the food were good, but £3.50 for a draught diet coke more than a little steep.”

“We had a meal here mid October. We had spent the who day in the car driving up to Scotland and by the time we arrived we just wanted a bite to eat, drink. The place we were staying at recommended the Faerie. It was just up the road so was close by, luckily when we got there they have 1 table left. We shared a starter and each had one of their burgers. The food was absolutely delicious, large portion sizes so we could not finish everything but is was perfectly cooked, my partner isn’t one to rave about meals out but even a few weeks later he keeps saying it’s one of the best burgers he’s had for many years! A shame we live so away otherwise we would be back to eat again!”
