Our daughter has had all of her birthday parties here and we didn't think it could get any better. Recently we brought 6 SEN children for dinner. The amazing staff gave us a quiet area to accommodate the children, we noticed that the food had improved and the area is safe and well equipped to accommodate SEN families. Highly recommend this venue for families.

Visited the play area for deserts and a play for our toddler. Neve our server was rushed off her feet but extremely attentive and kind. Will definitely be back.

Our 7 and 5 year old children enjoyed their visit to the soft play before dinner. The staff were great and not only booked us into the soft play where we could sit and have a drink at a table whilst the children played in the big soft play area, but she also booked us into a booth with a TV for our dinner afterwards. Dinner was good and as the now tired out children sat and watched TV whilst eating their kids meal, my wife and I enjoyed our meal. The steak sandwich was tasty and the rump dipping steak on the specials menu was delicious. With three sauces to dip into plus fries AND Mac n cheese sides, it had everything. Staff were great and service was warm, friendly and attentive. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere and welcoming decor. Good value for money for a family meal. Enjoy.

We visited this evening as a family of 16 to celebrate my uncles 60th birthday. Every one of us, including the children had a great meal, the macaroni cheese was delicious! A special mention for Jade. She is a credit to the company. From start to finish Jade was absolutely fantastic. Extremely patient, friendly and with a constant smile on her face. Nothing was too much trouble. Oh behalf of myself and my family we’d like to say a huge thank you for a memorable evening. We are already planning our return visit :) Thanks again, The Howarth family

Popped in for a quick meal on Thursday afternoon, while we are on holiday in the Trossachs, all the staff were extremely friendly and made the meal enjoyable and memorable, I had mixed grill which was well cooked and presented, personally, the gammon was a little to salty, however, we enjoyed the overall experience so much , we called back for Sunday lunch, we had roast beef, roast chicken and a burger between us, all delicious. Simon was extremely attentive and particularly friendly, even giving out son some whiskey advice, off To Sterling distilery next. Highly recommend for good food and friendly service

Visited here this morning for breakfast. Was greeted by Rhona who was very friendly and accommodating. Order taken swiftly and drinks presented in lovely glasses with fresh fruit in them, the extra touches really make such a difference. When the food came the presentation was beautiful, didn’t realise a full cooked breakfast could look so good on a plate. You could tell the chef Stuart had really taken the time and effort. Food was beautifully cooked and lovely and hot. A very well run restaurant. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Booked to treat my husband to a special meal. Very disappointed upon arrival to be told most of the menu items were already sold out (given we were an early sitting of 7pm it beggars belief what would be available to later guests!) After a very long wait, the steak pie meat was chewy and gristly and the very small portion of mac and cheese was stodgy served with a side salad that had obviously been sitting out all day and was bone dry (no dressing either !) At this stage we gave up and left!

This was terrible, a visit organised for fathers day that was a complete disaster, the service was dreadful and the food was abysmal save your money and go somewhere else, will never go back

We decided to eat here as staying at the Holiday Inn Express opposite and couldn’t be bothered going into Stirling. We looked at menu online and decided it was a good deal. We were greeted nicely and shown to nice table. The cheaper house wine shown online were no longer available though and the salmon I particularly wanted wasn’t either in fact the salmon hasn’t been available for months I was told. My husband and I ordered fish and chips and they came with very few chips, turned out that wasn’t a problem as the chips were horrid, like undercooked, tasteless McDonald types. It was the last night of a little tour of north of Scotland so it was very disappointing. On the plus side the fish was nice and the waiting staff pleasant. Will not be returning though. Ended up going to McDonalds for an ice-cream as wasn’t risking a dessert there. Drinks prices are fairly expensive.

We visited on Thursday evening (2nd June) after our little one had finished playing in the Soft Play area and decided she wanted pasta. Despite her desired dish being unavailable, the chef happily created a child’s portion of macaroni cheese for her which was thoroughly enjoyed. Simon noticed that our little one was struggling to wait patiently for her meal (as all hungry 2 year olds do) and quickly arrived at our table with a packet of crayons when he saw me pulling paper out of her bag for her to draw on. He was friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. He treated our little one like a VIP and made the whole evening so relaxed and enjoyable (relaxed is a rarity when eating out with a toddler). Thank you Simon! We would eat there every night if you were guaranteed to be our server.

Stayed at the Hotel round the corner and decided to eat there as we were too tired to be bothered to go back into Stirling. The minute we entered we were acknowledged and assured we would be seen to shortly. Kevin sat us at our table and explain the menu and items that were no longer available etc, along with some witty banter and friendly conversation (despite being busy). We ordered drink and they arrived promptly. We then ordered our food and all our additional requests seemed to be not a issue for them. Food was exactly what we expected form the style of Pub it was. While we were there another two tables arrived. One of the tables was rude and they didn't want to listen to Kevin or order with him, chose the app so they didn't need to speak to him. Surprise surprise when the food came there was something not quiet how the man wanted it - Kevin dealt with his comments and tone very professionally where I wanted to tell him maybe he should have spoken to a human then got exactly what and how he wanted it. The other table, who had little English, came across rude, but not intentionally I believe. We were still in conversation with Kevin during his check back on us and they shouted at him to order more drinks. Again Kevin was polite, took it in his stride and dealt with the request. In the current climate and the fact that I work in the Industry of Customer service I felt I had to write this for the management to know and appreciate what they have with this employee. Look after them as they are hard to find these days. We would definitely go back for the service, thanks again Kevin.

We have visited Springkerse View numerous times over the years and had a great experience. Good food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. However we visited this evening (Sunday 5th June 2022) and our experience was terrible. Firstly the extremely quiet car park should have been a tell tale sign. Seating for 6 of is was fine- friendly member of staff and seated straight away....only appeared to be one other table at that time. Waitress took drinks order quickly and it was delivers to table quickly as well. We then ordered the food. Ordering with the waitress was fine and efficient. No issues there. 20 mins later food arrived - no big deal or so we thought. One order was completely wrong so told waitress who said it would be rectified...a few mins she returned to say it would be 15 mins for the meal to be delivered!!! Of the other meals only one was enjoyed. The other 4 were cold or elements were either under/over cooked. at this point we cancelled the missing meal and quickly left. Based on this experience i would not recommend at all. Food was not of even a basic standard and even with post Covid recovery to think that any food of the quality served is acceptable is extremely disappointing. Will not return !!

Hadn't been since before the pandemic and used to enjoy it.Used to be able sit anywhere you wanted and the children could use the soft play for free.Went today and was told it would be £4.50 per child in the soft play and we must sit in the soft play area. Can't be good for business since our family and 2 other familes turned and left taking about £300-400 of sales back out the door with them.

Staying across the road and very happy to find that they welcome dogs. So much so there’s even a menu just for them and a water bowl is provided. Our dog is a picky eater but was very happy with his chicken from the puppy menu and extra treat of a small Bonio. Our steak and burgers were good, followed by a brownie and cherry sundae. Nothing at all to complain about. We’d had a long day and wanted to eat fairly early so there was lots of choice of where to sit. Dogs are allowed in the areas which aren’t carpeted. We took Spud’s dog bed in and he happily settled whilst we ate. Very friendly service, nothing wrong with the food and a great place to take the dog without worrying whether he’d be welcome.
