A cozy and very carefully maintained Inn. a historical landmark, one might say. I highly recommend spend a night or two here on your way to explore Lake Lomond and the surroundings. wonderful breakfasts, with local salmon served Don't forget to try the duck liver with caramelized onions - their chef's specialty. cleanliness, excellent service, wonderful lobby and very convenient location. Add to this the beautiful views of the bay - and you have the atmosphere of this place.

Stopped off for food. Cullen Skink was beautiful as well as the Fish and Chips for main. Reasonable price and staff were lovely and helpful.

This has been a favourite place over the years to stay or just stop for coffee while passing - as we did a couple of weeks ago.Had a cafetière of coffee & shortbread in the lounge and enjoyed the view.We were somewhat taken aback at the cost this year though. No problem with the cost of the coffee, but £7 for 4 tiny pieces of (albeit, delicious!) shortbread seems rather steep!

Due to the time of season, everywhere here was fully booked for meals and the Creggans was no exception. We had tried all other venues for our party of 13 - without a response. The Creggans called us back and said that they could fit us in early, pre-order and would have a special area set up for us. I cannot compliment the service and offering enough. We really lucked out. The view, setting sun and whole ambience of the venue made it an extremely unforgettable dining experience. Well we finally got to go back to our favourite hotel ever and as always it was amazing. Archie and Gill put their heart and soul into this wonderful place. All the staff are amazing and always make you feel welcome. The food was exemplary and we were fortunate to speak to the Chef and tell him so. I can't remember how many times we've stayed at The Creggans but it never fails to deliver and yet again we found more places in the local area to visit and more for the future. Our favourite is Pucks Glen which is only 15 minutes drive away. We will as ever be back as soon as we possibly can.

What a amazing place . Food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Beautiful views . You only have to walk across the road where you can sit and just relax. Rooms are clean . Its like being in a different word We will definitely go back again.

Great food , not a huge menu choice but varied enough . We were a part of 4 , quick service and the waitress could not of been friendlier , she was just lovely and offered advise on the Scottish dishes when needed . The food was piping hot and delicious . Would definitely come again
