Strachur, CairndowA cozy and very carefully maintained Inn. a historical landmark, one might say. I highly recommend spend a night or two here on your way to explore Lake Lomond and the surroundings. wonderful breakfasts, with local salmon served Don't forget to try the duck liver with caramelized onions - their chef's specialty. cleanliness, excellent service, wonderful lobby and very convenient location. Add to this the beautiful views of the bay - and you have the atmosphere of this place.

Macphunn’s Bar & Bistro
A815, CairndowOn Recommandation we went to dinner in Macphunns Bar in the Creggans Inn.We had the burgers and the plate with mussles and white fish.The meals were extraordinary. Neatly located- and we got lucky with a little sundowner at the end by sunshine and warm 20 degrees! Absolut lovely!!!!Vegetarian options: There were a couple on the card.
