We regularly pop into the Tudor when we are in Strathaven as its dog friendly (they are so nice to our wee dachshund) and you always get good quality food and service. The Tudor is a stunningly picturesque building from the outside, inside is quite small but has enough room for several nicely presented tables with nice pictures etc on the walls (it even has a small hidden fairy door ). Food is traditional , tasty and well presented withgenerous portions of fish and chips, Lasagne , baked potatoes, wraps etc. Service and staff are top rate. A great wee place.

Had the loveliest lentil and vegetable soup followed by a toasted lemon and ginger scone with butter and cream with a pot of tea. The presentation was so quaint. Lovely tiny milk bottle and China tea cup and saucer and cake stand . The scone had so much flavour and was melt in the mouth with perfectly whipped cream. Hubby had a toasted soda scone with cheese followed by a huge strawberry tart and the best mocha he’d had. Fabulous home baking in cosy setting with super friendly staff and excellent value for money.

Nice, clean, lovely staff and OMG the choice of cakes!!! I shouldn't have as I had the Mac n cheese and chips with garlic bread but well, when can you do when faced with the choices they had. Now I want to lie down for a nap. Lol

Food and the prices wonderful but the service needs vastly improved a good job I was off work for a week the staff need to look around them and be in tune with the customers we where in for an hour and a half why I do like this establishment but the service would put us off returning

Nice wee cafe in the middle of strathaven, perfect for afternoon tea or a lunch stop! The toasties are amazing! Often busy so difficult to get a table!
