We regularly pop into the Tudor when we are in Strathaven as its dog friendly (they are so nice to our wee dachshund) and you always get good quality food and service. Had the loveliest lentil and vegetable soup followed by a toasted lemon and ginger scone with butter and cream with a pot of tea. The presentation was so quaint. Lovely tiny milk bottle and China tea cup and saucer and cake stand . The scone had so much flavour and was melt in the mouth with perfectly whipped cream. Nice, clean, lovely staff and OMG the choice of cakes!!! I shouldn't have as I had the Mac n cheese and chips with garlic bread but well, when can you do when faced with the choices they had. Now I want to lie down for a nap. Lol
