Superb americano ! Strong and tasty, enough to blow away anything resembling cobwebs ! Smashing bacon and egg roll too. Never rushed, never feel like you have to vacate your table straight after finishing. Prices very reasonable too.

On a dreich day it handy to have a cafe at the bus stop to get out of the rain in Tain and warmed up with a cup of coffee before taking to bus home.Plenty going on upstairs by the sound of things, but this didn't detract from service to customers downstairs.Clean and pleasantly presented, with friendly staff.

Really good to see a new, family run business thriving and with ideas to expand...Excellent soup, coffee and cakes, next time we visit we need to make time for the other food choices. We liked the mix of seating: chairs and tables also arm chairs and sofas, upstairs too.Casual atmosphere and a great place to relax.Lots of good ideas here, from the origanal local art for sale, book sales and a book exchange (bring one take one away) to the family friendly area for little ones to play.A good place to go and hang out, especially if the weather isn't so kind.Parking: Free on street parking spaces can be limited but off street parking is nearby.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly, with a small play area upstairs: toys, a play kitchen, chalk board and soft flooring for little ones to amuse themselves.Wheelchair accessibility: They are working on wheelchair accessability with a ramp and wheelchair accessable toilet next door and internal ramp between the two buildings.Plans to incorporate a larger seating area with more space too.
First time I had been to Pipers! Excellent sandwiches and nachos and side salad - very fresh. Even had a gluten free toastie for the wee man. We enjoyed the space upstairs and the kids were entertained with the books and crafts. ?
