I spent a drizzly August afternoon in Pipers whilst I was in Tain for the day. It’s a really lovely cafe/coffee house that has an amazing range of teas, coffees and local bakes that you will definitely want to try as well as some hot snack options such as their breakfast rolls and soup.As Pipers is a small family run company the cafe has a lovely family feel to it which most places lack these days. Popped in for a coffee and brownie ?. Friendly and helpful staff, absolutely great and homely atmosphere. Great selection of art and books for sale too. Highly recommend if you're planning to stop by in Tain! ?
We stopped here for lunch and coffee while on a long-distance cycle. The staff were really helpful and the coffee was great. The establishment is generally cycle-friendly and is nicely located when heading North for JoG.
