Me and my girlfriend, during our journey around Scotland, have been in Tornhill last spring, visiting a friend of us. Tornhill is one of the quietest place on the earth, and truly scottish. With the owner, Margaret, we felt more than at home. She is hearty and lovely. Her place is the typical dream house, and our room was coozy and quite. Bathroom incredibly clean and there were every stuff we needed. Last but not least: another reason to visit Tornhill and stop by Margaret's house? Her AMAZING scottish breakfast!!! We'r still dreaming of it... We'd like to thank also her husband John, very nice guy. We'll come back there very soon! Matteo&Giorgia

Lovely stay, very friendly! Homely and welcoming. Even got a packed lunch made for doing tough mudder the next day! Would highly recommend! Thank you for a very lovely time.

Had a great stay with Margaret and John. Room was really clean and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. It would set you up for the day. Definitely the best breakfast in thornhill. The location was brilliant with lots to see and do in the area. Very reasonably priced aswel. Would definitely recommend and if I am back in the area I will definitely return.
